Airlines that DO NOT Require Vax?

Subscribe
Plenty of threads on “Will _____ Airline drop their vax mandate?”

Not here to argue if the requirement at Airline _____ is right or wrong. Their businesses to run as they see fit, so I don’t care.

How about this:

Which airlines currently do not require an applicant to be vaccinated in order to get hired?

Asking because I haven’t found a consolidated answer, I’d like to know, and I’m too lazy to go 50+ websites to find out.

Thanks.

I'll sticky this thread if we can stick to the topic.

You may find it's a shorter list to cite which airlines do have such a requirement.

Better yet, wait until Friday and ask the same question.

If you haven’t already HAD COVID-19 (vaccinated or not) you can’t have been doing much pax flying. And if you HAVE had COVID and recovered you are no more at risk than anyone who has been immunized. And of course, neither of those situations will actually keep you from getting or giving COVID in the future.

Now having said that, HR departments (and national governments) can still put whatever requirements on employees (or people entering their country) they legally can.
Rationality isn’t actually a requirement.

With the official "end" of the pandemic on thursday, whatever policies might be in place may very well go away or change shortly thereafter. In the interim, if one applies to a company that does have a requirement for a vaccination, it should be noted up front in any vacancy announcement or job description.

I have encountered companies that are not requiring employees to be vaccinated but have made it a condition for new-hires. I suspect that requirement will be dropped as the pandemic ends. Tracking and tracing mechanisms, databases, reporting processes, etc are shuttering. In a day or a week, one might reasonably expect changes to policies that are in effect today, driven by the official "end" of the pandemic.
