Default NWA Hiring Scoop???

Anyone here in the know re: the upcoming hiring at NWA. I have seen that the company "updated" the hiring page, indicating that hiring will occur in 3-6 months.

Does anyone have any "potential" information regarding the application process, mins., hiring process, and potential basing/equip.

Any info is appreciated.

We are still working our way back up the furloughed list. The guys in class now are the bottom furloughees. Depending on how many accept recall, we could be hiring the fourth quarter of this year, or first quarter of next.

Thanks you for real information...

With all I have read/heard lately it seems like most of the narrowbody fleets are short. I would love to get to the "north" again.

Just got back from my annual. Hiring is going to occur in late Oct or Nov. Why would anyone go there?

because in the long run it has to be better than the regionals. if you happened to live in one of their bases then you don't have to commute and let's face it there really isn't any good majors out their right now.

To get back to the Midwest.
To get out of the CRJ.

NWA may have taken a hit, but it is less of a dead end career than the regionals.

Edit: No offense intended by what I said. Not meaning to drag anyone and anything down with that statement. Unfortunately, it just is hard to get the same raging enthusiasm for a company after we have all seen what has happened to the fine employees at NWA. But for me it would still represent a step in the right direction for a career. Hope that make some sense.

Why does NWA take so much heat for doing what USairways, United, Delta, American(to a lesser degree) have done with their employee contracts? I might argue that with the saved pension, they "imposed" fewer cuts on their employees. Sure the contract sucks compared to what we had, but please tell me what the alternative was, especially when the airline was losing millions of dollars a day? I get the feeling fellow employees would have preferred to stick their heads in the sand until all the money was gone, and then close the doors. Who wins with that?
NWA management stood side by side with the employees to save their pension in Washington DC, while Delta management made no attempt to push the pension legistlation through Congress. And all I hear is praise for Delta and their management. What gives?

Couple of quick question for NWA pilots,

Are trip/duty rigs gone?
When and how much will future raises be?
What will the B fund be for a potential newbie?

The pay isnt the best, but CAL has their **** together as well as DAL is starting to look really good
