ok after going through my log book and entering it into an excel spreedsheet. i have noticed im off on my adding.. Currently if i entered everything in correct i am short 23 hours of total time . thus making all the other columns not correct either. I cant belive how i did this.. but luckly enough to catch it soon enough. Does anyone know what a correct way in trying to put these 23 hours of time into my log book.. I know i could cross out each TOTAL at the bottom and re print the correct total beside it but that would probably make my log book even more confusing .. Does any one have any ideas aon how i could get my logbook cleaned up. Granted im gonna go back over my logbook to make sure i typed evey thing into excel proper -- after doing it for 2 hours you get tired easily .lol

Make a one time correction, or if there's a math error line out the error, and make a correction with your initials. NEVER USE WHITE OUT!!!

How does an interviewer know that you weren't falsifying your records?

I had a 76hr mess-up in my Multi-Eng section. That's what you get when you're flying late night freight and updating logbooks at the same time. Anyways, I went through and found my error, then on the last page where I was just finishing up, I put a notation that "Corrected for math error on X-XX-2006, adding 76.0 to MEL time." Then put my initials, or signature(either is acceptable).
