Um, I don't think you're thinking of us. We don't fly any DC-9s. We're a Part 135 airline, so to fly for revenue you need to meet Part 135 aeronautical experience minimums- 1200 total 500 XC, 100 night, 75 instrument, as well as 15 hours of flight experience in the Chieftain.
Not having been down in BUR for a while, I don't know what the current hiring practices are- but if you aren't close enough to easily fill out the 135 mins during flight training, it might not work out, unless they have a Training Captain slot to fill. Training time isn't revenue time, so we're only governed by Part 91 and our Ops Specs there.
