World Air Holdings to Lease Additional Boeing 767-300ER for North American Airlines

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga., Dec. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- World Air Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: WLDAE - News), parent company of World Airways and North American Airlines, has signed a letter of intent to lease an additional Boeing 767- 300ER passenger aircraft for delivery to North American in December 2006. The initial lease will be for three years.
The high-density, high gross-weight aircraft will be North American's fifth Boeing 767, and will increase North American's fleet total to 10 aircraft. As previously announced, the airline will receive its fourth Boeing 767 in March 2006.
World Air Holdings also signed a two-year extension for a Boeing 757-200ER lease that was scheduled to expire in May 2006, continuing the lease for North American until May 2008.
