Default Hacs?

Anyone have experience with HACS? On the surface they have some good looking jobs.

Haven't worked for them, training is in Japan around 9 months worth. The pay is supposed to be pretty good I've heard around 80K for f/o's. They are very procedure oriented and everything is done only one way-the JAL way.

HACS is good company, but search the other guys, (WASINC, SIGMAR, IAC, etc...). Basically they all advertise the same jobs but all offer different pay, medical, and other benefits. So search each company and see what they offer.

I think Frieght Dog made a page with a lot of the Contract companies. Thanks for that!

Also JAL medical is sometimes strict. Knew one guy that was heathly (in my opinion and his), but didn't pass it. They checked everything including BMI, Body fat %, vision, blood pressure, EKG, and a test where you blow into a tube. Similiar to a NZ/AUS medical I think

Worked for HACS for 4 years. Good company. Of the four companies that deal with Japan, I rank them #2 behind IASCO. And the only reason IASCO is #1 in the contract companies is because they still hold a part 121 certificate and have a few more jumpseat agreements that HACS does not have.

Be aware that the contract company has very little impact on your day to day QOL issues when dealing with the airline you are contracted to. They only step in when the contractor has an issue, or when you have an issue with the contractor. Its a very fine line these contract companies walk. On one hand they have to appease the Contracting company, who pays them, on the other hand they have to appease you (the contractee) because if your not happy you will leave them, maybe go to a different contactor, which will recieve a portion of your paycheck instead of the original contrator. Hence the fine line.

I would love any "inside" info re: HACS...specifically the NCA contract.

I have applied, I'm just waiting for the window to open.

I submitted my data last weekend to HACS. Waiting to hear about the next step myself. Are you looking for the 76 or 73?

I am actually waiting for the NCA 747 position to start screening. While any of the other positions are intriguing, I wouls prefer to stay in the "states" for now.

Default NCA 747 Classics F/E job?

Are NCA still looking for crew on their 747 classic fleet?
Does anyone knows if they need F/E's to their 747 classics?
