Gets Weekends Off

Greetings all...

I start at AirTran in the 2/25 class and had a couple of questions.

In whatever A/C I get assigned, are you typed as an FO? (not just SIC)

Is there a probationary period?

How about access to buddy passes for friends/extended family?

Also, I am coming over from a regional that has a great web board. Is there something like that for AT folks?

I realize some of these questions would've been good to ask during the interview, but it slipped my mind!

You'll get a DC-9 or 737 type with SIC privileges only = (worthless)

Is there a probationary period?
Probation is one year.

How about access to buddy passes for friends/extended family?
They'll give ya all the specifics in class. There's website access for non-revs to list.

Also, I am coming over from a regional that has a great web board. Is there something like that for AT folks?
The union is in the process of setting up a new board for us. Linepilots.com is an AirTran pilot only web board run by one of our pilots.

I realize some of these questions would've been good to ask during the interview, but it slipped my mind!
