They ARE ripping us off. America is addicted to oil, it's a monopoly and our government will sit back and do nothing until the people in America raise up enough noise. First of all it's REAGAN, not Reagon. Second the oil companies don't set the price of oil, the world market does. They pull it out of the ground, refine it and sell it at the price set by the market. I'm certainly not too stoked that they are making billions off of us while we pay higher and higher gas prices every week but lets put the blame where the blame deserves to be. Not very often I hear someone blame the futures traders but do you have ANY idea how much those crooks are making on oil? Its more than you can imagine.Originally Posted by StraightShooter
