Looking for Seattle area 141/VA approved schools

Subscribe
Not to rehash the thread on the Seattle flights schools but I have only found a couple schools that have 141 programs and are VA approved, Galvin being one of them. I am looking to train for my instructor certificates. However, I have been out of the books so to speak so having a ground school would probably be beneficial. I would love to go to Galvin but cost becomes a big issue even with having my GI bill to help cover expenses and I would rather not rack up more debt at this point. Does anybody know of other schools that would offer good training at a smaller price?

Regal Air in Everett. Great prices, and the staff there is great. Part 141 and very military friendly.

We are not Part 141 yet but if it's not too much out of the way for you try Avian in PWT. Getting your CFI through Galvin will cost you more than getting it through a small school without the government help.

PAVCO is part 141. They are in Gig Harbor, WA out of KTIW. I did all of my flight training there except multi and I was very happy with the decision. You can check out their website at www.flypavco.com.

Try Snohomish Flying Service, in Snohomish. Its out side of seattle but I know they have competitive rates and have well trained instructors.

Come to Northway Aviation at Paine Field in Everett.. Great, well trained instructors and the best fleet in the NW. I Got my Multi, MEI and CFI finished under 8k.. I was also out of the books for a while but the people here are friendly and willing to work with you to get you back to speed. We are part 141 for private but everything else is part 61.
