yes - still hiring - picking up lot of ATA's flying for the DOD

Are you guys gonna get the old ATA planes too?

NO - we looked at those planes when we got the six DC10s from Northwest and did not want them - we got NWAs best - we might be looking at other DC10s

What's the typical timeline for getting hired at Omni? Does anyone know when the next round of interviews will be? Thanks!

I read on Speed News where Omni is selling 2 of there newest DC-10's.

What about the 2 757s that APC says will be gone at the end of the year?

seeing what is the market to "wet lease" the aircraft - not sell- still stay with OMNI and operated by them for someone else - trying to get business other then just having to rely on the DOD business

Looks to me that they are simply looking for business-not giving up airplanes.

Unless the definition has changed, a wet lease is includes the crew. Isn't that the line of work Omni and others do? If so, good for them.
