Anyone have a recommendation for sat phone company,s?

I used an Iridium phone extensively in the AF. It was pretty solid around the world, but you need line-of-sight with a satellite (i.e., couldn't use it indoors unless you had an antenna accessory to place in a window). Perhaps they have phones with better reception on the market.

Additionally, I'm not sure how much the service costs, and the phones themselves are quite costly. If this is for a specific trip, you may want to consider renting the phone/service (plenty of options if you Google "satellite phone rental.") Sorry I can't give you more details.
