I have about 7 or 8 friends at Sky West right now because that is where most pilots from my flight school here in Utah end up. From talking to them they have not mentioned anything about United guys but my buddy was telling me the other day that every other captain he flies with is hired by either Jet Blue, CAl, or South West. They are just waiting for a class date. A couple of guys from my flight school also got calls for interviews from Sky West just today.

It's great to see movement after the past few years.

I agree, that is where I would like the end up with all my friends from here. We had about 5 instructors get hired back in September but since then it has been a little slow.

Do you go to National Pilot Academy in Cedar City, Utah?

Do you know if NPA is a good place to train at? Have you heard any first hand experiences from there or know anyone who has gone through the program?

No I really don't know much about it. I have talked to a few guys down at the Cedar City FSS when I was passing through while instructing but that's about it. I never had a ton of time to sit back and really talk with them.
