Default DHL Loses Dell Contract?

Anyone else hear that DHL may be losing the Dell Computer contract? Was told that FedEx is angling for the contract and will be supporting the Dell shipping requirements with both Ground and Express assets. Might be worth up to $285 million per year. Can't verify the status or maturity of negotiations but it would help out with the pilot overmanning.

Huh? I thought UPS lost DHL to Fedex a year or so ago?

That will never happen. It's got antitrust written all over it.

That's a good one. The way some of these guys are getting, if they have to go around they'll be screaming anti-trust on tower frequency .

Apparently DHL laid off all sales force today. Also, the rumor is that DHL is in fact closing up shop here in the USA. They will offer no ground services by January.
