Quote: Interesting you claim using the "N" word has different meaning coming from a black than a white person. I did not know there was a black and white webster dictionary?

I agree there are lot of influential black men out there. I've named a few Lynn Swann, Bill Cosby, George Foreman, JC Watts, Clarance Thomas all of these people I'v named are conservative black men who the black community has labeled "uncle Toms". Why is that? They are successful people who worked hard, yet, they are labled pawns of white people. Why is that? Why don't you name some influential black men?

This off BET own web page:
"Bill Cosby recently hit up Oprah and discussed his speech in 2004 where he attacked Black parents for buying kids $500 pair of shoes vs. investing in education."

Multi-millionaire Bill Cosby should use all that time he spends talking and find some creative solutions for “ignorance” and poverty.

"We are not the only one who thinks Bill Cosby is out of touch."

That's a condensending remark. Wouldn't you agree? For example, let us walk up to a group of African-American males in the same scenario saying hello to the ones we know (meaning there are a few present that we don't know personally) and one of them saying something that we (you & I) would both disagree and we both reply with the phrase, "n*****r please". Meaning..."hey man you dead wrong or that's about the most stupidest thing I ever heard".

Now with me, the conversation continues.........but with YOU, you my friend have an ugly situation on your hands.

The black community hasn't labeled all these men as uncle tom's. We, as a nation of people of color, have certain ideology, ancestrial customs that still permeate today. Men such as Clarence Thomas and JC Watts, IMO, are turncoats in a philosophical, socio-political and ideological capitulating way. They seem to operate on the premise that the white's man ice is colder. Ice is ice.....regardless of who you get it from.

Agreed as well. There are thousands of black men and women who hold high and prestigious positions in Fortune 10, 25, 50 & 100 companies and own their own companies where business deals are in the 100's of millions....but you're not gonna see that on CNN, NBC, CBS or any other national or local news media. What you will see are the Jesse Jacksons and the Al Sharpton's and the local street level drug dealers. That's what is shown day in and day out. You never hear of people like Earl Graves, Gene Upshaw, Carl Eller, Dr. Charles Drew, Benjamin Bannaker, Dr. Daniel Hale & Bessie Coleman.

Even from an aviation perspective. Can you or anyone truly name any of the Tuskeegee Airmen? The Redtails. African-American fighter pilots in WWII, who escorted B-17's and B-24's on there bombing missions over Germany and occupied territory. They flew the P-51D Mustangs. They never lost a bomber. Not one. And the white bomber pilots requested them and would refuse to fly the mission if the Redtails were not their escort. Crazy...isn't it? They lost 69 of their own....but not one bomber filled with all those white guys. Makes you wonder.

For a blackman you do not seem to know your black history very well. George Foreman was labeled a "uncle Tom". Why don't you google the 1968 Oylmpics and George Foreman. You will see he was labeled a "uncle Tom" by the black community. And yes all the other men I mentioned have too. If you would like I will show you the examples, but I think I would be wasting my time trying to convince you otherwise.

As for you Redtail history you are once again wrong. Here's the true record.

"While it had long been said that the Redtails were the only fighter group who never lost a bomber to enemy fighters,[10] suggestions to the contrary, combined with Air Force records and eyewitness accounts indicating that at least 25 bombers were lost to enemy fire[11], resulted in the Air Force conducting a reassessment of the history of this famed unit in late 2006."

Your statement about blacks pilots dying for B-17 bomber white pilots just goes to show your racist feelings. I guess as a white man, I could ask you what about all the white 1 million union soldiers who died free blacks from slavery??

As for my condensending remark you claim I made. The "N" word has one meaning and one meaning only, it does not matter what color you are.
APC frowns upon racism and prejudice. This thread has gone from how one could have their mortgage forgiven to an argument over black and white. Please take your racist comments elsewhere.
