Could anyone PLEASE suggest a good school for instru+comm+multi rating? i'm an indian student with my private rating and looking for a decent(economical, good weather=fast flying, indian DGCA compliance) school to finish my training, since NY isnt exactly the best place to do so..going by the winter weather and fuel prices.

I'm considering PanAm, who are offering B737 type rating programs as well, good for taking back home. Anybody have an idea if the school/program is good?

I'm pretty much open to any other school too.. that complies with indian DGCA requirements.. Other schools i'm looking into are aviation atlanta based at kpdk, California Flight Academy and Paris air at Florida..

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.. Thank you.

What are DCGA requirements?

Aviation Atlanta has a solid reputation for flight training in the Atlanta area, claims to be an M-1 visa school whatever that is, and they also charge top price for training. If you are looking for more economical schools that cater to international visas, most of them will be in Florida and California. KPDK has some of the most expensive flight schools I have ever seen, not a single one is known for being economical.

If it works out better for you take the Pan Am deal since you will also be getting a type rating along with some great training.
