Hey all exNWAers,

I just remembered a story an old Hughes guy told me years ago.

When the Republic merger was announced, someone stole his hat device and wings. I don't recall where he said he was when he left it unguarded, but our stuff will be worth $$ to collectors.

So........watch your $hit.

Ferd

PS Delta guys may want to watch their blue nonCitgo wings and such too

When I signed into ICREW today there was a splash screen announcing new name tags. Wonder what they will look like.

Same but brushed brass instead of polished. At least that is what I have been told.

And I heard the Widget will be all red. No more blue.

True........I'll see if I can find the picture somewhere. On a fly together memo? I have a great memory, it's just real short. Anyway, that was the meaning of my Citgo comment.

Both our companies lost millions last quarter. Why would we waste the money to replace 7000+ Delta pilot's wings and hat emblems??? What's wrong with the old ones?

We are getting red wings and hat emblems. They are in the trim tab from a few weeks ago. Also new name tags as stated above.

AHDRVR,

It's non-cash (vs SWA). We beat this to death on another thread but think of it as like your 401K. If you had to account and report publicly how it changed (even thought you didn't sell it) what you would have to say about it to your investors.

Gotta love accountants eh?
