TP is correct of course about the training bond. However, if you have a lot of Boeing glass time, a short course is offered and the bond is 12000US over three years and prorated monthly.

Quote: Not airline, but for my corporate gig flying the Citation, I signed an 18 month training agreement for about 22K (the cost of the initial type rating at FSI), prorated at 6 month intervals. I also signed an agreement promising 12 months of service following any tuition reimbursement (the company picks up 100% of tuition towards my masters).
You got hosed; most companies have service agreements with FSI and or SF around $7500 for the CE500. Mine was $9500 and that was slightly under retail ($11000 or so) included diffrences for all the 500 series plus the Sierra mods.
