The Juneau Empire and local radio station stated that the aircraft was in town testing its "autoland" features. Kinda sorta right I think. We at the airport were told that the aircraft was fresh from Boeing, pre-delivery to Qantas.
I'm betting they were flying test and certification RNP approaches and departures.
