Can anyone help me with a PHL parking question? I will be commuting from PHL-OAK hopefully on UPS's daily flight. After looking at google earth I noticed a very large parking lot almost empty in front of the sorting facility. Does anyone know if parking is allowed here? I can't find any info online. Thanks

Parking's easy. Press on around to UPS (Hogg Road maybe), see the first lot on the right, press on past the facility, then park in that lot. The first lot is "unsecured", but the second lot isn't much better, though I had no trouble. According to the locals "park near the cans" on the ramp behind the fence, if you can, then head to security. You might a ride to operations, I think the guards can call for you.

Park in the "west" lot, the one furthest from the airport's control tower. Go to the guard shack and they will do the security check and get you a ride inside. Pretty easy. Enjoy the rides!
