$125/hr total!
Heck, there's a soaring club here where the glider is $10/hour, the tow is about the same as above, and the instruction is free (they're all just doing it for fun). I've been strongly considering joining and picking up a commercial glider add-on and a CFI-G

Might be hard for time building though. They only fly on weekends and everyone shares one or two gliders.

Won't bring the cost down
The LSA's that I have inquired about in the Atlanta area are renting in the $120 per hour range. I can rent 152's for about $75 wet, and older 172's and warriors for less than $120 wet. Doesn't look like they will be bringing down the cost of flying any time soon.

On the other hand, I flew a Champ a couple of weeks ago for about $30 an hour. 1200 feet agl, 80 mph! Some of the most fun I have had flying in a long time! Only got 1.2, but it was a blast!
