Wow,
Tough words on an anonymous internet fractional forum.
The Netjets Haters are out in force.

According to airline pilot central, XO has 23 pilots on furlough right now?

they were not furloughed. They were let go out of seniority order.

Flyguy is right, except "let go" might be an understatement...: They were terminated at Christmastime, with no warning and no regard to seniority. "Hey, how come my Blackberry and e-mail quit working?" Nearly one in five pilots there were terminated this way. Now we all in this industry have heard about the 1% rule or even the 5% rule..... But the 19% rule?!? You can't tell me that with the high standards in aviation, one in five are worthy of termination all in THE SAME DAY. It was very wrong and a low life way to conduct a force reduction.

Best of luck to those XOJETters who were treated so poorly!

Not that I agree with it, but when I was in corporate management (over a decade, Non-aviation) we were told to always be prepared to let go of your bottom 20% (1 in 5). Management is always going to look at the bottom line, which is what they are supposed to do. It is a precarious situation, but one that we have to live with which does not always bode well for us.

BTW, I'm not in management anymore, and hope I never again manage anything more than the left seat!

Quote: Your points 1,2 and 3 are all about advertising. I can design a pretty piece of turd and post it everywhere. I just need that Berkshire money. Point 4 including tiger... i know for a fact this guy has his own Gulfstream. Point 5, having Bill Gates on the board?? Dude you are just not getting it.
You know that for a fact do you? I happen to know for a fact he has a GIV with NJA. So somebody has their facts wrong it appears. All you have to do to correct your facts is visit NetJets Global Landing and watch the man himself talk about his NJA account and GIV at NetJets. LOL

Come on man, lose the chip on your burdened shoulders; it's a bad time for everyone. We all need to hope for the best for everyone. If you see a company like NJA suffering; then you should be afraid for GA in general. Stop hating and start praying for a recovery ......... real soon. Cheers.
