ASA does, and did get better ones for a while, but some certain liberties were taken by crews and we now have a fraction of the quality of the ones we had before...

Mine does, but not on my aircraft. I don't think my airline likes my airplane, even though we sometimes fly 7 legs/day with no more than 30 minutes between each turn, and make money with less than 50% load factors. But 1/2 an hour is barely enough time to run down to the crew room fridge or the nearest fast food place (with a long line) to get some food to eat above 10,000ft on the next leg. If I have a flight attendant who is kind enough to offer a bag of peanuts, then I'm grateful and forever in debt. Why does ATC always call right when you're taking a bite of food? They have that timed out perfectly! And then, right after they do it, it's another controller, because the previous one who interrupted your lunch went to the break room to play air hockey and eat his lunch lol.

You don't get the explus boxes? Not that it should be considered a meal.

Why would we get the explus boxes when you stole the explus flying from us?

Yes, but how many times has this happened to you?

Your doing a 2+ hour flight, not to Mexico, when they should be "serving meals at meal time". So you decide to save yourself the money and just eat what they SHOULD have on the airplane. Only to find out it's nothing but a pretzel party.

OR, you fork out the cash for a sandwich because it's a relatively short flight, when they shouldn't be "serving meals at meal time", and the plane is loaded with food.

And before some moron pops in with "just call ops and order them". Yes, because thats always such an expeditious process.

Caahhhnstahnntly improving our praahhhduks and shervices.
