3rd Quarter results for Alaska Airlines if you're interested. Can we just divy that $87 million up and give it to every furloughed employee now? Oh wait, how about we divy it up amongst the execs via a big fat bonus!!! Or we could flush it down the wall street toilet with a stock buyback, even better.

The "good ole boys" are getting some nice bonuses. I'm still looking for a job and I know that 106 As furloughs and 83 QX furloughs that are hurting. It is funny that they keep on talking about what a great job the employees are doing.

I don't know how to respond to these jokers anymore...

Ditto. Here's another tidbit: "...our best quarterly financial performance in many years". They are amazing!!

Well, they are doing their job. I am a share holder and happy. They are running a profitable company. I am also furloughed. If I am to return, we have to stop the 90 hr VSA pilots. The company is doing a good job properly staffing as long as guys work the way they do.

I am a longtime shareholder, but this news still makes me sick to my stomach. Must be nice to be in the inner circle collecting just a small piece of these millions. They obviously count their beans in a different way. Anyway, I hope some of those execs spend their big money in my coffee shop.

Exactly... and if they keep turning a profit, they'll grow and bring people back.

I can see why they'd want to count them in their way in terms of bonuses. But wouldn't counting high also put more pressure on them to give raises and bring furloughs back? Seems like a delicate balance between not looking too good to **** everyone off and getting enough for a bonus. The higher the earnings the higher the taxes as well. So I don't particularly see a solid reason to always count in their favor.

I'll bet you guys aren't suffering from buyers remorse after ratifying your last agreement.

Straight out of the CAL management playbook.

Cry poor, get Pilots to approve completely inadequate contract, miraculously show record profits shortly after.

Rinse and repeat.
