UPS pilot furloughs were the lead story on all the 6pm local news broadcasts in Louisville area, and look like they'll also be the lead on the 11pm broadcasts as well.

WAVE 3 had a recorded phone interview with IPA spokesman Brian Gaudet (sp?) that was very professional, followed with the anchor specifically saying the union (paraphrasing) "volunteered to pay to keep the pilots employed", but that the company refused.
