Quick question:
Does helo turbine time count towards fixed wing turbine time? I was told, "turbine time is turbine time". Is it true?
Thanks in advance...
David

No. Fixed wing turbine is one thing. Rotor is another. That is true with
SOME
companies, turbojet and turboprop being counted the same. But helicopter turbine is usually (99.9%) not counted at all.

Osprey maybe? You could just generalize "Total Turbine Time" instead of separating fixed wing/rotor

It will not count for the TPIC required for airline hiring purposes.
A few airlines allow some helo in your total time, but they generally have a formula for how to apply it.
