You guys were right..hes 22. He has had a good run to date flying 91 in a conquest and meridien at around 18 years old and now is into the jet(s). Pretty good story, he is well ahead of the power curve at this stage of his career.
I had a student like him once. He "flew" through his pvt,comm,CFI,multi and purchased his own ATP/type in a citation at 24. He got a job with a corp flying as Captain for a few years. He got bored and left the industry and went into software developement and he was never heard from again.
Sometimes it is not good to advance too fast
