396 isn't gone... When it is then I'll say we haven't gained an additional airplane but since the MX manuals, ops specs, and Weight & Balance manuals all show 10 currently then...
If we live off possibilities then Omni possibly would still be getting 787s, 747s, 4 more 777s, DC-10s would e coming out of retirement and whatever other rumored things that float around the water cooler here.

FWIW the 767 fleet added one additional to what traditionally has been a 9 airplane fleet. Now with 7 -300s and 3 -200s is a 10 airplane 767 fleet. That includes the swap of the airplane sold to ABX and the newer one from China.[/QUOTE
don't know what tail you are counting for the tenth 767
-300s are 342, 351, 378, 477, 441, 423 gone is 387 and soon 396
-200s are 207,225 and 234
total 9 (counting 396 as gone)however it would not surprise me to see another 767 soon

Chris,
OAI will give you lots of days off in a row, especially if you land on the 777. For example, my 12 days off just stretched to 15 before I have to go back to work. On the flip side, you might end up on Long Call either here or overseas somewhere for days on end. That's happened to me, too.

Hey Guys, I am fairly new here...currently flying for a part 135 operator out of South Florida as a copilot for 1.5 years now, and really wanting to go to the airlines, but tying to avoid the regionals. Home based is super enticing since I have a small business on the side. I am low time but professional and dedicated...Is there any hiring movement going on at Omni at this time? I have applied last month but heard nothing so far. Can any of you fellas give me an insight about growth, hiring etc? I follow Omni on APC for a while now and seems to be a very good place to learn and grow professionaly. Hopefully I can fly and meet you guys..
Be safe and thanks for the tip.

Thyagosc, Big O is always hiring! In the last six months I believe we have run five training classes and we have a net gain of one on the seniority list. So roll the dice and come on, or maybe this should make you a little suspicious. Good luck on what ever you decide.

Thank you so much for the reply, I saw they posted on climbto350 today again for first officer position. I already sent resume to HR as directed on their website. Hopefully God will put his finger on top of it...anxiously waiting.
I follow you guys on APC for a few months now, Omni seems to be a good place to work and grow!
Thanks once again for the reply, fly safe!
