This seems to be a recurring theme in your post. F&H didn’t just come out of nowhere to represent an ATSG airline’s Mgt. yesterday. The relationship with F&H goes back to the Airborne Express days. IBT1224 has been dealing with them for decades.
OAI pilots and the IBT will be just fine and can more than hold their own at the table with them.

Sun Country is nearing a deal on their CBA that will include 43% raises and top CA rates above Delta. That’s $286 ph on the 737 at Delta.
A Direct Contribution of 15% and a switch from line to PBS bidding.
The PBS can be good or bad depending upon the rules and paring generation.

While attrition isn’t that great yet; if everybody keeps outpacing us folks will start leaving in large numbers. I think they are seeing that with a few folks no showing on class dates happening more often.

I like this company and I hope they continue to value their pilot group enough to make the investments to keep it from shrinking through attrition.

What's the connection to Omni? There is nothing about this posted on their board.

He just said what the connection to Omni is: others are offering higher wages and people are either leaving or not showing up. The draw from other companies may have an effect, and that effect influences not only who stays or who shows up, but negotiations, too.

Rising tide, and all that.

Yes, that makes perfect sense as market conditions are such.

if there isn’t, there will be soon……

Edit - looks to be a leak from the company to gauge reaction.

We can expect our dribble of attrition to pick up if they do not keep us competitive.

Good for SCX if they can/do secure the rates mentioned along with rules/retirement/etc. With that in mind, it doesn't always translate to the rising tides theory. Personally I'm hoping that it will but you have to consider they (SCX) are not really in the ACMI biz. For the most part they fly their own revenue in their charter/vacation segments along with the sched pax service they offer. Cargo wise is only a small portion (maybe 10 a/c) at this time, and given the rates that are rumored...I don't think they will be operating it (cargo) at a significant profit. Too many other 73 operators remaining at the bottom who will continue to see the AMZ growth experience. For an ATSG carrier, they can and will well afford the increase in attrition vs a much higher employee cost. The work can be covered via overtime and the every changing f/o list as people will simply come and go. It's worked so far at ATLAS, ATI, ABX, etc., with some luck the tides may actually turn forcing management to reconsider (don't hold your breath).
