Yes it is, and that's what's amazing about it. The union negotiated this and the pilots agreed to it. That's why just about every day in every BES is below reserve coverage every month. Can't drop, trade, move days around, or improve QOL as a result. PBS gives you your schedule and you fly it or call in sick. No ability to adjust it.

Yes, these have to be OFFERED when the LPVs will be a certain value per the contract. However, the company does not actually have to AWARD any. May is not exactly summer flying. It is the calm before the storm for the most part. I still think we are understaffed even for the lulls if you ask me, though.
