hey all,

We just got our three LIDO binders today. And I have an older coyote works(hunt I think they call them now) from my old 121 job, leather with the metal skid plate, and I can't fit those 3 plastic binders width wise into my flightcase. I can only fit them in length wise and then I don't have room for my other manuals and headset. Does anyone have any remedies or suggestions other than buying a new bigger cheaper flightcase?? maybe jepp leather binders?? thanks for the advice.

Are you a new hire?

I use the two black binders that were Pinnacle provided. I guess they are 3". It's a black hard plastic binder. Although it may look impossible, you can fit your LIDOs in 2 binders. A-J in one, K-Z in the other. Opening and closing it can be messy, but you get used to it.

Lidos come from the devil !!!!!! I use two plastic ones that company gave me , and 1 leather jepp chart one. 3 books of charts 1 CFM . And my telex head sets, all barely fits in my Scotts leather bag.

Don't sorry tho. iPads coming next week ! Lol

It's German for stupid chart. Approach plates that look like they were created by 5th graders.

Most airlines use Jepps charts, Pinnacle use Lido's. It' just another company for enroute/approach charts

I use only two of the standard black binders you can get from ops. Yes, they all fit in two binders granted you take out the charts that aren't on the LEP. You can squeeze the LIDO's into two black binders and have room left over for your trusty FOM or whatever else tickles your fancy.

I have a coyote works bag, I broke my lido's down into three Jepp leather binders, have my cfm and then a thin trip book and my telex on top of them, fits fine, snug but a little wiggle room. I would suggest a trip book or at least a small binder for MEM, MSP, DTW, and JFK since you will be using these daily
