RI,

What's it looking like as far as the expansion of the SAT base in the coming months and years? I live in San Antonio and am very excited about this. I am not qualified for PIC, but SIC would be a good fit.

Lifter,

IMHO.....SAT will be a great locale for growth in EAS's future. For more detailed info please wait for more info from those within EAS. I have limited info on what is in progress for EAS and their growth.

Are pilots still being hired to fly multiple types like the KA350 and the Phenoms or are the King Airs now flown by dedicated crews? Are the Citation pilots dedicated to that fleet as well?

You're hired into a single specific position. After your one year seat lock, which we seem to adhere to pretty closely, you will probably be offered a second plane, or upgrade if eligible. Pretty sure we have some that are pilots on both the King Air and Phenom. I don't think the King Airs are flown by "King Air only" crews.

I am a King Air PIC on both the 350 and the 90. I was hired to fly the 350 then was asked after I had been here a few months if I would fly the 90. There are some guys that are on the Phenom and the 350. The seat lock is a solid one year. I haven't heard of anybody lately going before there year was up.

APA base would happen before the 7/7 sked and APA is not even in discussion for a base. EAS does do a lot of DEN/APA/BJC flying. I know a few current EAS pilots who would fight for a DEN base!

Do you get paid extra for dual qualification?
