Is B-1900 quality Captain time for a Resume? Much benefit on paper getting TurboFan PIC over Turboprop?

If I have 2600 hours Part 121 Embraer 145 SIC. And 1000 hours PIC in a B-1900 Part 121, is it considered "quality" flight time when moving on to majors?

How about flying B-1900 out of FLL to Bahamas with no icing experience? How about flying out of Cleveland or Billings MT as a B-1900 PIC in wintry conditions. Any benefit over the other when it comes to a Major reviewing the Resume?

How has the experience been moving onto Majors for GIA ( 3M ) and GLA ( ZK ) Captains on B-1900's ?

How about a SF340B+ PIC Part 121 time with 2500 hours of Part 121 TurboFan? Thank you for sharing your experience.

I am considering leaving my current employer to a Part 121 carrier hiring street Captains.

PIC turbine is PIC turbine. I have no jet PIC nor did I fly a RJ (by choice). I have about 6500 hours in a SF340 with 1300 of that PIC.

It was good enough. The PIC turbine is great but you'll need a good network to help when a company is looking at thousands of apps and picking a few.

If it is 121 time some majors (notably SWA) will consider you the same as an RJ captain. Others will prefer jet/glass time.

If it's not 121 time it is not quit as useful, but that goes for jet time as well.

Is SF340 P121 time much better on the resume than a B1900 P121 in the mind of a Major airline recruiter reviewing the application?

Probably not, but I have seen some airlines specify MGW > 20,000 lbs.

340 and EMB 120 is good enough, but 1900 is not by this measure.
