We have a roommate. "Chicken" has been a code around here for what others might call "alone time" for a while. It's just easier to use in a multitude of sentences. ;-)

I have personally experienced roosters that crowed well before sunrise in the carib. 'bout 2am all it takes is one to make a noise and then they all go back and forth for the next 7 hours. no natural predators on the island to come eat 'em when they are like that.
