Default Flightworks Afghanistan?

Hello everyone, just curious if anyone has intel on FlightWorks operations in Afghanistan.....?

What's the QOL?

Any info on the maintenance?

Tax implications/benefits to working out of the country?

I have read the stuff on the other operators, but I am looking for specifics on FlightWorks. Thanks!

QOL? It's Afghanistan, it blows. I'd exhaust all other options first.

Most likely you'd be based at Bagram or Kandahar. Those bases are several thousand in population and have all the amenities you need (movie theatre's, plenty of WiFi, PX, etc). Don't take size for granted as those bases get attacked almost every single day.

Anyone know what they are paying per day in theater? Rotation schedule? Coach or business class to and from theater? Training pay?

thanks

The guys flying -8's were getting something like $530/day in the right seat $620/day in the left. 60 on, 70 off. I think it was Dynamic but don't quote me. I'm citing a year+ old conversation I had with a few guys while chewing on leather steak at the Aviation DFAC.

Grumble

Dynamic just got a pay raise to 660 per day in theater. I believe Avenge is $680 per day and L3 is $700. Was curios where Flightworks fell in the spectrum.
