Thanks for all the info! It is appreciated guys. I've flown to KXFL a lot and I've seen the Ryan Air seaplanes flying around there almost every time. Getting the rating in a Husky is appealing too. But so is the flight school in Winterhaven... hhmm decisions decisions. I will probably just get the Seaplane Commercial as it seems it is just about the exact same check ride (albeit to slightly higher standards).
