Southwest already serves Des Moines, Akron-Canton and Dayton, via their Air Tran subsidiary.

Oh, you meant with Southwest pilots and airplanes.

Where's the press release that they are using autobrakes now?

It was like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton adopted a martian on a trip to Pluto when SWA figured out what VNAV was all about. Who does their press? TMZ?

Why wouldn't they advertise for new service? It's a change in brand, and it's noteworthy to the people of those towns. Many people don't know or overlooked the press about SWA buying Citrus -especially those in IA and OH.

Do Delta's passengers blindly show up to the airport and buy a ticket same day, everyday?

Yeah cause its perfectly normal to advertize for the same markets the airline you just merged with has served for many years.

As dumb as that is though, we're sort of living in a glass house with a lot of the "historic LGA service" that's 94% RJ's anyway but whatever.
