Thunderstorm moved through... violent downburst... spun airframe on the ramp and sat it on its butt. Nice save by the tail-skid. (aircraft going into long term storage)

Extend tail skid!

It seems the tail skid did just what it's supposed to do. I wonder if it popped the clip off the side.

We aways put 10,000 pounds of fuel in the center tank if we were leaving the plane for a few days. Didn't always help. A tornado went through PHX and spun one Seven Two and left it on a baggage cart. Another 20 feet and it would have been in the warehouse.

Looks like Roswell, I would have though they would have put some ballast in P1.
