This place is the cheapest I have found so far in the country.....

Cal-Aggie Farmers Flying Club in DAVIS, CA
It is associated with UC Davis in Northern California near Sacramento CA.
You don't have to be a UC davis student but can just become a member for just $19.00 per month.......

Cal Aggie Flying Farmers

With a 172 renting for $96.00 per hr wet & a 172 G1000 for $116 per hr wet, I think this place is the cheapest I've seen......

In a low-cost area, ie the mid-west, or south-east, not california, north-east, or mid-atlantic.

Have you guys heard of "Daytona Aviation Academy"?

Flight school in Daytona Beach, Florida - Daytona Aviation Academy

10 hour block rates =

C152 = $77 per hour
C172 = $100 per hour

Instruction = $30 per hour ($40 for CFI, CFII instruction)

They also have an accelerated program.

They're located at KDAB, perhaps some of the guys that go to ERAU or ATP in KDAB have heard of them? Any feedback...?

Another one at KDAB thats worth looking into is Air America. Their fleet and prices are pretty nice but I do not have any first hand experience with them.

Where I instruct 58N has some reasonable, although not the cheapest prices.
C-150 (1975) = $80
C-172 (1971, and 1974) = $104
Instructor = $41
