Exclamation FDX Airbus and MD11 Dec Bidpacks Snafu

Attention all you loyal Fastbidders out there.. no Fastbid assist for the Dec bidmonth for the bus and maddog. We all have to revert to cave man techniques i.e. paper bidding. I had made massive adjustments for the duplicate pairing issue but alas when they went to build the lines, their decades old (probably) construction program complete went batsh_t and put out some erroneous lines due to the duplicate pairing ambiguity. I have been told all will be back to normal in January but.. Also, new software, BLISS (don't ask and i don't think that will describe the general emotion involved) is coming in July and promises new and more confounding issues i'm sure.

You may be in the know. Do you think there will be an upgrade to the Mac version so us hippie-types with the new Apples can dump the manual method?

Are you the Fastbid guy?!?!?

Have you ever considered adding a "Pay Only" button to the features?

When in Pay Only status, one gets the Credit Hour value of the line, withouit regard to the Carryover. There is no easy way to bid to guarantee the maximum pay for the month.

One can bid the code for Highest Paying Line w/o carryover, but that might eliminate a line With carryover that he could have held that would have paid more. It also would eliminate Secondary Lines and Reserve Lines that might pay more than the regular Line w/o Carryover, if he's rather junior (like me).

Using FastBid to rank order the lines by CH helps a lot, but still requires the manual insertion of the code for Secondary Line at the AVG BLG point in the list, and the Any Reserve Line code at the RLG level. Why not automate this process with a single button?

Further refinement could consider Days Off for guys who are about to exit training, as it is this parameter that will have the greatest effect on Custom Line construction.

The Pay Only button would be priceless for the Flex Instructors, but it will also be valuable to anyone who endures ITU training.

Whaddya think?
