I am taking my family to Madrid in July, on Delta, and am hoping some Delta folks can answer some questions. We purchased tickets in economy for the four of us, wife and two young children, Non rev to Europe in July was not even a consideration for us hence the purchase of tickets.

1. We will be staying with family around Spain but plan on getting one night hotel before we return stateside. Hotel recommendations or perhaps crew hotel in Madrid?

2. Even though not non reving would you guys get the crew chocolate and such? Should I just not even mention I work for another airline?

3. Is economy comfort worth the extra $100 per person?
