Yeah, I think Lifter is thinking of Delta Air Lines. Must have mistakenly posted in the JB forum. Next he will ask about profit sharing...

You gotta be kidding ... he/she has part 121 time so way ahead of most of the new hires I've been flying with.

If it's legal, it's safe...

That is my absolute fav. Positive space to get to work but good luck getting home. Did y’all know we already have a commuter clause? Maybe the next CBA should have positive space both ways. Heck they could do it now but nope…..

It’s always the same the front the top help help us but it’s also all your fault and when things get back to “normal” go f yourselves.

I have always had helpful base CPs but the attitude from the ELT lately is sad and they are to quote someone just doubling down.

Right!

I know you know the origin of that phrase, but for those that don't, at our previous regionals the base managers/chief pilots would say "if it's legal, it's safe" whenever they were trying to pressure you to take a jet single pack, single bleed, single engine, one wing on MEL into 1/4sm blowing snow, 70kt quartering tailwind to a closed mountain runway, leg 5, with a new 251 hour FO (YES, that was a thing), to a pre-planned 8 hour reduced rest overnight to an unassigned hotel still pending, on your day off. I think the ILS was NOTAM'd out as well, but was a long time ago, can't remember all the details.

Yep, ILS was out. Good thing we had the NDB though.

You know... All joking aside, I did have a controller give me a no-gyro PAR in late 2020 downrange. Do they even teach those any more?

Hardest part was being upside down on the NDB with our air metals dangling in our face... Good times.
