Hey everyone! Super excited to be interviewing with y’all on the 9th.

Couple of questions:
1.) Does anyone know if there are interviews being conducted this week? The earliest dates the sent me were the 8th/9th but our plane is down for MX this week and might be easier for me to get there. Figured I would see if anyone knows if they’re interviewing before asking if it would be possible to come this week.

2.) Anyone know roughly what percent of interviewees are being offered positions?

Thanks for any help!

Even if you don’t get LAX in training no one is waiting more than 2 months to transfer. Only risk of getting stuck longer is getting SQ, 220, or ERJ.

Do the others have particular bases that are more common? Especially the E190?

190 is Boston and JFK. They closed the MCO base on the last annual bid and displaced the pilots. 220 is currently only Boston.

If you're offered a CJO, typically how far out can you request a class date? If you had a wedding or a vacation planned, could you theoretically ask for a class 4+ months out?

One of the questions they ask is whether or not you’re able to start class within 3 months. So I think 4+ would probably be pushing it.

Hey everyone, interviewed last week, got moved to Phase 2 on Friday.

Does anyone know anything about the pilot hiring committee that looks at packets/what they are looking at? Just curious as to what the likelihood of making it through Phase 2 is.

Thanks!

AFAIK they meet on Mondays. They’re looking at the whole applicant… your hours, experience, flight history addendum, letters of recommendation, notes from your interview, etc.

Obviously not everyone who makes it through the interview gets the thumbs up from the PHC but most do. Good luck! Looking forward to you joining us.

Look at all the information you've given so far and filled out along with letters of rec and the scores you received during the face to face. Not everyone makes it through but it seems most do versus those I've heard who haven't. Don't sweat it too much!
