Gojets own the DAL 700s?

Parker won't pay for a regional to fly AC they use to fly for him. I.e. Skywest 900s, Mesas and RAH 175s for the new AA.

If Parkers paying for planes they will go to PDT, PSA or AE which he directly controls. So gojets better own lots of 700s or have financing ready.

The 700's are owned by Delta and sublet to GoJet. That's how Delta can award them to a different carrier every 5 years. (Actually I wouldn't be surprised if they still weren't "owned" by Comair on paper in some form!)

So I'm told the head ALPA honchos met with Kirby a couple of days ago and the meeting was moved at the last minute. Days later, the pilots still have no info from the private sewing circle as to what happened or where they stand.

Sounds like Eagle pilots aren't even considered union members anymore worthy of a burp from the organization who siphons their pay checks.

how true, unfortunately

GoJet won't get any AA flying. I am sure UA has a non compete clause in their contract. That is the same reason why the RAH flying went to Republic instead of Shuttle America.

Then how is GoJet flying for Delta?

Quote: Parker isn't stupid. He saw what happened with pinnacle an how easily they caved.

1. Make ridiculous proposal
2. Threaten to shutter company
3. Realize pilots take the attitude that a lousy job is better than losing it totally and being unemployed.
4. Laugh as union votes 90% in favor of further poverty.
5. Cash bonus check.

If alpa allows this to happen then they're more worthless than previous thought. We're already low paid compared to all the other blue collar skilled trades.
Sadly, ALPA doesn't have as much say in this situation as some would like to believe.

Quote: Just so ya'll know- the reason USeLess Air is pushing this so hard RIGHT NOW, is because they know come August they won't have anyone on the inside to make it happen, and in fact probably won't be able to get anyone to listen.

Lets try one of mgt's negotiating tactics- delay, delay, delay. We've got a contract. Lets go with it.
It's about the only option Eagle has, which isn't much. But don't think Parker and Co. haven't been having back room discussions with other regional carriers out there for the past few months.

Who's up to bat after Eagle takes it in the nuts? Air Whiskey or Piedmont?

GoJet flies for Delta! And is owned by Transtates holdings who has other airlines feeding other majors. Also republic, shuttle and chataqua don't compete as they are managed by the same management and have the same pilots as far as seniority list goes. Try again buddy! Why does Skywest feed all airlines?
