I have a huge regret... I basically burned all my bridges when I resigned in 1991, and did not seek guard flying. I wish I had. While you'll never miss all the chicken-shiite crap in the military, you'll absolutely miss the hardware, and the camraderie of the squadron. I haven't exceeded 40 degrees of bank in 20 years!

Keep it in mind as you seek greener pastures... you'll be glad you did.
