My understanding is that if he is still AD he will have to sign a 4-yr ADSC to transfer the benefits -- that's what I'm doing right now.

I am not sure of the transfer eligibility once you retire/seperate...?

First, you are in the military. I can't imagine any better place to network and to meet contacts.

Second, since most airlines have computer based screening systems you must ask yourself, which one do you think scores more points on the application? If you get called for an interview, they want to hire you and they're just looking for reasons why they shouldn't. Having this or that isn't going to make or break you at that point in the process.

Third, there is the Southwest stigma. It is real.

If you don't have any type ratings, perhaps the 737 type would be best in terms of application scoring. If you do have type ratings, I'd probably go with the MEI.

But neither of those matter if you have good contacts. That is the way business works.
