Actual 2013 Legacy Retirements?

Subscribe
I'm looking for the actual number of retirements (both medical and age limit) that occurred for the year of 2013 for each of the legacy carriers.

Over the past few years I've been tracking the projected number of retirements for each carrier and I want to compare the projected number to the actual number to see how accurate the projections are.

I would be looking for an official number and not an anecdotal number.

Thanks always!

sadly the MEC stopped publishing the ones for HAL... but the last one I looked at had between 15-25 a year... sorry it's not more precise, but better than an empty thread.

Our list is based on 60. However it's around 60 per year over the next few years. That doesn't include 30years of service, early outs and medicals. We have also had quite a few leave based on the rise in interest rates tied to the A plan.

This is why you can't have an exact list. All kinds of variables figure into the number: Bond rate changes, threatened bankruptcies, contract disputes. All of these have caused spikes in early retirements, especially where lump sum payouts are involved.
