Seen the deal and now flipped to a yes vote, RJ ?

Sure sounds like it.

American Airlines cuts flights from Reagan, LaGuardia airports

AAG will stop operating nonstop from LGA-ATL, LGA-CLE, LGA-MSP...

Aren't those Eagle (or Envoy) routes?

Yes, they are operated by our CRJs.

If you say it enough and long enough it will eventually happen at some point. Good job ace.

Default Insult to injury, isn't it "envoy" not "E?"

It looks like the official logo has a small 'e' instead of a capital 'E' just to make it even more diminutive. Terry Maxon at the Dallas Morning News points out it's not Envoy Airlines either, it's just envoy.

Both definitions are unhappily/ironically/insultingly accurate...:

envoy [1]
n
1 (Formal name) envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary a diplomat of the second class, ranking between an ambassador and a minister resident

2 an accredited messenger, agent, or representative
(C17: from French envoyé, literally: sent, from envoyer to send, from Vulgar Latin inviare (unattested) to send on a journey, from in-2 + via road)

English Collins Dictionary - English Definition & Thesaurus
envoy [2] , envoi
n
1 a brief dedicatory or explanatory stanza concluding certain forms of poetry, notably ballades

2 a postscript in other forms of verse or prose
(C14: from Old French envoye, from envoyer to send; see envoy1)

Watch the next stages in this evolution of the RJ system. Envoy is not easily replaceable as a block, but they will likely start trying to chop you into smaller pieces. Smaller pieces are easier to outsource or close down. I would be wary of any plans to chop Envoy into smaller, separate divisions. I don't know if that could happen, just that that is the next logical thing for management to pursue.

They've said the plan is to shrink us til they can shut us down so your scenario is likely.
