Vis in England yesterday - 100 meters. Midday today was severe clear. Midday plus 5 minutes - 200 meters. Tomorrow - more of the same. Friday, this non-system should be pushed out by an actual system.

And that's one of the main reasons I decided a long time ago that flying freight was a better way. The packages never give a sh!t where they spend the night, and I never feel bad if they have to spend the night in some cold, dark, corner of some outstation, somewhere.

Yep. I flew freight. Good money, stable industy, good stuff. Except one night, I was in the cafeteria line...meatloaf, corn, iced tea...I set down, eat my meal, talk to the fellows. I look at my watch and it is 3:30 am!!!!! I have a moment of clarity....WHAT THE F&&* am I doing here. Two hours later, I am in my ancient 727 praying that I don't fall asleep before the fuel is balanced and I am tank to engine...then...I am at the hotel, it's 6:45am, I have been up for 10 hours and I see the airline crew checking out while I am checking in. I try to sleep, but the maids start the vacuum at 9am. I say... forget this, I am applying at the majors. Ten years later, here I am, for better or for worse. No regrets.

Exactly the reason I don't want to fly freight.
