Have any of you attempted to, or had any success obtaining flight data recorder exemption letters from ICAO countries for aircraft above 5,700kg that were US registered after January 1, 1989, but before October 11, 1991?

Never tried, but I wish well in this endeavor. The Feds are "fantastic" to work with!
