Sky Talk: Cargo carrier Ameriflight to move headquarters to DFW Airport

Cargo carrier Ameriflight announced on Thursday it will move its headquarters to Dallas/Fort Worth Airport later this year.
The airline currently has its operations in Burbank, California with 600 employees and 170 planes. It is not clear how many workers or aircraft will be moved to DFW.
"Relocation to DFW will allow us to better serve our customers throughout North and South America, as well as centralize our operations at a major international hub in the nation’s geographic core," said Ameriflight president Andrew Lotter.
Ameriflight is planning to move personnel from its flight, maintenance, safety and quality departments to DFW starting in September.
